Just do everything you can (including sabotage) to be the first to get out of jail. You don’t have to worry about routines in this mode. Everything in versus centers around you getting out of the jail first. If you don’t feel like getting along with a friend, then versus mode is the best option for you. Your friend can cause issues and distract guards while you collect items (or vice versa). The co-op is fun because it changes the strategy. You can participate in a simple co-op adventure with a friend or do a versus mode. It’s a lot of fun, but can be frustrating, especially if you lose your progress over a stupid mistake. However, there are a couple maps (like the railroad, for example) that have different objectives and time limits to deal with. I was worried that every map would be similar. The AI will check your cell every so often, which could cause you to lose everything. You need to be very careful as you hide items in your cell. However, one false move will put you right back at square one. Crafting and executing your plan takes a lot of effort. Now, keep in mind that this game is very challenging. But he, along with myself, had a fantastic time exploring and working in each of the prisons.
