If you look at ebay right now you can pick up okami ps2 for about 815 bucks, though most listings are 25+. the PS2 copy is the best version to put on your shelf, the NS copy the best version to actually play. strange i heard it was one of those rare and valuable games a little while back ago maybe it isnt as rare as others said then XP. IIRC the port also incorporates motion controls for the brushwork, similar to the Wii version, but less-accurate (because they're gyro-only), but I can't remember whether or not I tried them out personally.īetween all of the available options.
OKAMI PS2 VALUE PS4
NS: identical to PS4 version, but adds in touch-screen support for brushwork.
PC: identical to PS4 version, but adds support for much higher display resolutions (Okami looks really great at 2180p) it's also theoretically possible to cheat at the fishing minigame whose Final fish sucks so much ass and prevents so many of us from getting the platinum trophy. PS4: identical to PS3 version, but added the ability to skip cut-scenes in NG (in prior versions you couldn't do this until NG+). Without the shit load of minor mistakes the time could get probably below 9:15. Authors comments: This is a quick playthrough, just to get my new game plus run up on the site.
Available in three versions: low/normal/high quality DivX. PS3: supports 16:9, 1080p, and includes trophy support. Speed run of kami in 35 segments, completed on May 6 2007. It does actually surprise me that it went to GH, though. Wiimote/nunchuck combo is less than ideal for movement and camera rotation. Wii: motion-controlled brushwork is really cool, and IIRC the Wii port also supports 16:9, which is cool. There may also be issues with the credits in previous releases as Capcom shuttered clover shortly before Okami's release, IIRC. PS2: it's the original version of the game, so it has more collectors value. These are the pros and cons of each version that I have personally noticed:
